My husband and I are looking for a lilac bicolor or cream bicolor. Would these be available? We have been researching ragdolls for a few years now and want to get one. Please let me know if/when these colors may be available.
Thank you.

Hi Heather,

We just wanted to let you know that the kitten we took home in January (the adorable one with the happy little splotch on his face) is doing great. We named him Stonewall, and he has been a wonderful addition to our family. Since he came home, he and his brother (our two-year-old ragdoll) have been inseparable. They play together, sleep by each other, and groom each other. I can't imagine a sweeter cat than this one. Thank you for breeding such a perfect kitten! We're happy to be a reference for you if ever needed.

I am in the beginning stages of looking for a kitten. One of the breeds I am most interested in is the Ragdoll. I'm wondering what the usual price range for your kittens are. And if you have any available kittens now or soon.

Thanks,
Shanon

We recently picked up two adorable ragdolls from Castletopdolls and we could not be happier. Sophie & Emma are trusting, playful, beautiful and healthy. One thing that impressed us is how well socialized they are, and how they do not scratch or claw anything other than their posts/tree. They have a gentle, loving nature and we feel lucky to have them as part of our family. Thank you Heather for breeding such wonderful fluffy kitties.

I am very interested in a Seal Mink Mitted femalr or a Chocolate Mitted Mink female . . . . but might want another Blue Mitted. Do you have photos of your current available kittens?

Thank you so much.

I have a 7 year old "declawed" male Ragdoll who is as happy, playful, fast, and well balance member of our family as any cat could possibly be. He is strictly and indoor cat with free roam of 6,000 sq. ft. and has no need to protect himself from anything. Constrary to some beliefs, he has all of his toes.

He is our 3rd cat in this house in 27 years. All declawed, and all healthy. The first two were Main Coons with the first developing a Liver problem at 14, the second finding a better home which did not include my 4 year old daughter.

With my son off to college and my daugter soon to be off, we are thinking about the wisdom of another Ragdoll.

Hi, Im happy to hear that your Ragdoll did ok with the Declaw and seems ok but I disagree with the procedure.. due to how sometimes cats can get out and lost or the risk of future issues its just too risky. I have seen too many Declawed cats have all kinds of problems to not using the litter box to biting and depression and unable to climb and do there natural thing which is scratch and grip. They take off part of the knuckels on ech toe not the toes Its a chance you take and once done you can't get them back.

Hi Heather have spent the last hour & half going through your w-site. Wow!I am excited.Firstly its the most imformative, helpful website on Ragdolls I have visited, as a novice non owning Ragdoll enthuasist(thats soon to be rectified I hope)it helped me imensely. I\\\'v always had cats & could\\\'nt live without them. My two black moggies Smudge & Hendrix sleep on my bed which is why its very large.Hendrix was a rescue & is blind since young i dont move things around so as not to confuse him,
Smudge sits at the door if he wants to go outside but is back in doublequick time. But Hendrix likes to stay inside where he\\\'s safe.Would love to speak to you re. showing a Ragdoll. Would you please make contact? Many thanks. Sandra from Eire

I would like to own a magnificent cat such as a ragdoll to show off to my friends & neighbours. show & breed occasionly I tried years ago to aquire a ragdoll but no one would help me to get started,I felt so dissapointed as I wanted a social outlet. It most definitly is a closed shop here so I finaly gave up.Did\\\'nt stop me from reading & studying about pedigree cats & hoping some day to own & show my own. Would love to hear back from you Heather about how to get started & then to keep in close contact re, showing, breeding, & all
that entails. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi!
I just wanted to say how glad I am to find another breeder of minks that truly stands behind them and knows their roots!
I have started showing one of my minks in TICA and would love to talk to you!
Send me an email!

I currently run the National Cat Fanciers' Association Registry and found your website because I was looking for "mink" colored Ragdolls. You are the only one out there with the pictures and I would like to see a more detailed description of the mink and sepia colorations on your site so I can refer people to it. These are not-so-well-known colors and this would be good for your site. Education is what we should be promoting--and a beautiful, healthy, loving FurKid. Great job--I was impressed. On another note, were you aware NCFA was the first Registry to recognize and register the Ragdoll Breed..... Look forward to visiting your site again--

I too had a horrible experience with a DC breeder. I waited months without word of a kitten and lost a rather large deposit. Thankfully I stumbled across Heather's site and now have the pleasure of being the "mother" of my own steadily growing tumble of fluff.

Grendel cries when he wants my attention or when he realizes I left the room without him noticing. He loves play in any form. He has become the monster he is named for because I taught him to stand on my shoulders. ha ha. Now he takes his own initiative to climb there, painfully I might add. he always needs to know what I'm doing, especially in the kitchen. I couldn't love him more if I had given birth to him myself. lol

Thanks again Heather, I'll send more pictures soon.

After going through a terrible experience with another ragdoll breeder the DC area I thought I would give up my search in looking for a ragdoll. I then found the Castletopdolls site and they had a couple of kittens available I had seen this cattery years ago and forgot it existed when I seen it was still up and running I went immediately and found the kitten of my dreams. Thank you Heather you were kind and allowed me to come in to your home and see all your nice breeding cats and you sent many pics of my kitten as he grew.

I would like to congradulate you on your website and your beautiful cats. I also commend you on your de-sexing practices, here in Australia we are being pressured into early spaying which i stronly dissagree with. Mine go with a contract and a small refund as an incentive to fulfill the contract, so far so good. I am very interested in the solid and mink ragdolls, at the moment we are trying very hard to have them recognised as part of the breed for showing, some are applying for an outcross program I would how ever prefer to stick to the original lines if possible, as from research I know they are there in the background. If you could help I would be forever gratefull.
Yours Warmly

Great Ragdoll breeding in home breeder ... will purchase from again I have a flame male and he is the best cat we ever had.

From: Paula (Sun 29th Mar 2009 at 23:35)
I purchased a kitten a year ago and she is just an amazing cat she follows me everywhere and never uses her claws. I can see why this breed has a no Declaw they are gentle and are thoughtful about scratching you maybe its just my ragdoll but they are indeed a special breed and the breeder at Castletopdolls was very kind to us and even answered our emails months later about any questions we had.

I had the pleasure of meeting one of your kittens with his owner at Carney vet's yesterday. She was kind enough to give me your website. I am considering placing my name on your wait list.
I have had kitties for many years, and am fairly certain an adopted and well loved kitten who lived a long life had a great resemblence to a ragdoll by appearance and temperament.I have always been on the look-out for the breed and was pleased to see that there is a lovely breeder just up the road from me.
I also did show Shepherds many years ago and I see you have a love of them as well!
I enjoyed your website . I will be in touch.
Best
Mary

Purchased a ragdoll here 3 years ago and wanted to say that my cat is up to 20 pounds and is so special he flops at peoples feet and loves water he purrs non stop and is so human like. I wonder what Castletopdolls does to make her kittens so human like :) maybe its the socialization she gives ? I don't know but he just loves everyone. when we got him back in 06 he hid under the bed and cried for the breeder or maybe cried for his mommy then that night he came out and we will not forget how he all the sudden jumped up in our beds and slept by my head the whole night. I will be planning to get another cat from here and I hope my current cat agrees to it he needs a playmate I think because I am now a full time nurse :( and hate to see him all alone

I have a wonderful smart ragdoll from this breeder. I tried doing business with another cattery closer to me in DC and they were very forgetful and forgot that I was wanting to purchase a certain cat.. they sold my cat that I was sending in a deposit for the very day I went to send in my money my cat was sold. Im so glad I did not go as far as putting it in the mail box, they did not care about the customer only the sale and would have sold it to any one.
